Bull & Bear Steakhouse - New York
The esteemed Waldorf Astoria steakhouse has been around since the late 1800s, and it's at its most glorious in its current state in its third home. It targets mostly business diners and those who work in the Wall Street area--with the welcoming and imposing bull and bear sculptors as major focal points of the dining room.
The menu is composed of classic steakhouse dishes, starting with appetizers such as shellfish platters (Gulf shrimp, jumbo lump crab, Alaskan king crab legs) and buratta paired with tomatoes and basil. Steak offerings are classic and generous in portion; New York strip, bone-in ribeye and black Angus filet mignon are some of the options.
Non-steak favorites include B&B spiced chicken schnitzel, broiled whole Maine lobster and Dover sole.
