CUT - New York
It's hard to believe that this is Wolfgang Puck's first-ever Manhattan restaurant. This outpost for CUT--with previous locations in Bahrain, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, London and Singapore--is a luxury steakhouse concept situated in the tony Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown.
Diners and imbibers are treated to window views overlooking the bustling streets of lower Manhattan and inside sights include artwork curated for the space by Gelila Assefa Puck, Wolfgang Puck's fashionable wife.
There's a lot of seafood on the menu, beginning with starters. Get ready for share-able portions of red snapper sashimi, Maine lobster and Maryland blue crab "Louis" cocktail, and Big Eye tuna tartare.
There are many steak choices at CUT. Choose from USDA prime cuts that are dry-aged for 35 days. There's also grass-fed Angus, American wagyu and Japanese wagyu beef. Each is prepared by grilling over hardwood and charcoal, then finished under a 1200 degree broiler.
