Lincoln Square Steak - New York
"Mad Men" lothario Don Draper would have been right at home at this 1960s-themed steakhouse on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Lincoln Square Steak is classic in every sense of the word, from its dry-aged steaks to live piano entertainment.
We're sure Draper would have loved to pair his Old Fashioned cocktail with a prime New York strip, charred Brussels sprouts and a baked potato. Or, on a more adventurous evening with a group, he might order a nice bottle of vino with the family-style menu of eggplant parmigiana, beef tenderloin meatballs and rigatoni Bolognese.
For those aspiring to be a Don Draper--as well as those attending Lincoln Center or the Lincoln Square Movie Theatre--the $39 three-course menu is a great way to sample the menu. It's available 5-6:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday as well as all evening Sunday and Monday. Entrees range from Atlantic salmon to a petite filet mignon. The extensive global wine list features 30 bottles for under $30.
