Tavern 62 By David Burke - New York
One of New York's most respected chefs has teamed up with ESquared Hospitality for a number of steak-focused restaurant concepts across the country. In fall 2016, David Burke opened BLT Prime by David Burke in the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C. and followed it up with Tavern 62 By David Burke on New York's Upper East Side.
While all ingredients and atmosphere are premium, Tavern 62 maintains a laid-back, casual vibe that's prime for all-day dining. Across the board, the menu features modern American fare, and guests may come in for weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or late-night lounging.
Highlights of the menu range from shrimp and calamari bologese to a whole roasted Branzino. Burke's steaks have been aged with his signature Himalayan salt brick method with the Kansas City strip and 36-ounce Porterhouse for two aged for 40 days.
