The Palm Restaurant - New York
Since 1926 The Palm has remained family owned, with multiple locations across the country--and globe. This New York location opened in 2008 in TriBeca, which is only a few minutes away from the Financial District, Hudson River and Battery Park.
The original concept for The Palm was Italian cuisine, which was quickly changed when customers en masse requested steaks on the menu. Founders Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi--who were also Italian natives--had to run to a nearby butcher's shop to keep their customers happy. In addition to steaks, the menu showcases classic Italian dishes and seafood.
Highlights of the signature menu include dishes like veal martini (shallots, mushrooms, fresh and sun dried tomatoes, white wine, marsala wine and basil) and chicken parmigiana.
